- This fish and chip shop has always been popular. Provides a full
choice of fish, pies and all the other food items you expect from
a present day chippie.

Valley Chinese Take-Away, High Street (01905 770366)

Good - All the Chinese take-aways in the town are good and there
is another one in the High St called Peacocks. When one is closed
the other is often open, so you will rarely go wrong heading for
the High St. Our Marian says Golden Valley has the best fried noodles
in town.

Good - As it's name suggests this is a fish and chip shop and like
the other chippies offers all the there choices in addition to fish
and chips.

- This Chinese take-away provides a fast friendly service. I have
mentioned that all the Chinese take-aways in the town are good.
Everyone you speak to prefers one or the other so it is pretty even.

Queens
Fish and Chip Bar, Queen Street (01905 797770)
Very
Good - Everything you expect from a good fish and chip shop with
all the other choices such as chicken and pies. I like their Doner
Kebabs so it gets my vote but just as with the Chinese food all
the fish and chip shops in town are good.
