Worcestershire Public Health, the NHS & W.C.C. – "Making Good Health Happen!"

In conjunction with the Worcestershire Public Health, Worcestershire NHS and Worcestershire County Council and endorsed by local W.C.C. councilors, we are extremely pleased to report that For Droitwich Spa has over the past six months guided well-needed funds to aid a variety of local projects promoting "Making Good Health Happen" in Droitwich Spa.

These include the provision of workshops to various after school clubs involving dance, drama & movement, gymnastics, as well as training projects with local athletics organisations and veterans football, plus a pilot scheme of Zumba dance/movement which was supported by townsfolk. All ages are beginning to benefit from the scheme, designed to encourage and offer a cross-section of healthy activities in the town.

It is hoped that during the forthcoming Music Festival in July many of the recipients of funding will be showcasing their talents to the community.

We would like to take this opportunity of thanking the NHS, Worcestershire County Council and Worcestershire Public Health for the funding and in "Making Good Health Happen" in our town.
