Droitwich Sea Bathing Lido 1935-2005 The history of Droitwich Spa Lido, which is currently being redeveloped, is the subject of a new guide produced by The Friends Of Droitwich Spa Lido And Its Park. The guide, entitled "Droitwich Sea Bathing Lido 1935-2005", comprises a 12 page A4 booklet describing the history of Droitwich Lido in the context of the development of the British lido movement generally, and the development of Droitwich Spa in the 1930s in particular. It contains one full colour and 13 black and white illustrations - a number of which are being made available to the public for the first time. The guide costs £5 with all proceeds going to The Friends.
