Several local businesses were unable to be in attendance at the recent inaugural Business Forum Meeting at St Andrews Town Hotel on Monday 16th November 2009 but asked to be kept in touch with its outcome and further plans.
We were extremely pleased to see so many for the initial meeting and we were able to give them an insight to the role we play as "For Droitwich Spa" in the local community and how we are putting our ethos of People Together, Tourism Together, Businesses Together into practice. The enthusiasm shown by the businesses there plus the considerable number of other companies who registered interest but could not make the meeting, has given us the determination to move forward starting with a password-entry web based Business Forum on this website which we own and administer.
Once this is firmly up and running online, we will let you know.
We intend holding regular meetings, bi-monthly if possible, and given the time of the year, propose an early February get-together. We will give you as much notice as possible along with an agenda encompassing business and local issues, and of course, if you have any specific matters you would like to raise at that meeting, please let us know either by e-mail by using the Contact button above.
As mentioned at the meeting we are looking to establish a healthy membership from Droitwich Businesses and would welcome your participation. Should you be interested, we would ask you to remit the sum of £40.00 being an annual membership, which will run from now until end December 2010.
