Our
aims are:
- to provide a
focus for interest in
the town's past
- to educate individuals
and groups about local
remains of human activity with a view to conservation
- on the
practical side, to help increase the current level of knowledge
by carrying
out research
into local history and fieldwork

activities include:
- monthly lecture
meetings
during the year
- occasional
visits
and tours
- research
projects
- monitoring
development applications
and where appropriate commenting on
those which affect local heritage

| Membership
information |
Membership valid April 2008 - March 2009. New members ioining in December may do so for £4.00 per person. Or January for £2.00 per person. Full Annual Membership £6.
Meetings are held in the John Corbett Room, Droitwich Community Hall, Heritage Way, Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire, and start at 7.30pm.
Admission: £2.00 members; £3.00 friends and visitors, includes refreshments after the meeting.

publish a twice-yearly newsletter.

- An ongoing
research project into the village of Salwarpe, which has produced
two booklets so far
- Transcribing
the 19th century diary of Reverend Lea, vicar of St Peter's, to
be published shortly
